One of the things we’ve emphasized about Teamcenter Express since we launched the product two years ago is its out-of-the-box (OOTB) pre-configuration. As I was sitting in a presentation by Paul Speckens of Specpa, I was encouraged that as a consultant he focuses on helping PDM customers understand the functionalities in Teamcenter Express that match their requirements.
It also became clear in several PDM-related presentations today that customization no longer means programming. A few changed settings can make a pre-configured product fit to most environments. That’s key to making sure small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) maintain a low cost of ownership.
In this video Paul summarizes the key features of Teamcenter Express that he leverages at his customer BKL Engineering.
