Han Smits and Rik Voets presented Philips Applied Technologies Teamcenter Engineering upgrade to Teamcenter unified architecture.
They talked about how they went about the upgrade process, what worked, what problems they encountered, what lessons they learned and where they are.
The presentation was excellent tutorial for other customer planning to upgrade to Teamcenter unified architecture.
Let me summarize their experiences:
- No major issues popped up since they have been production for 6 months
- Update training relatively simple (2 hours was sufficient)
- Functionality updates using BMIDE to be planned carefully
- Siemens involvement
- Performace is better faster than v9.1
Over all they are pleased with Teamcenter unified.
