I have been walking around the partner exhibits during breaks. One new partner that caught my attention was Cortona 3D and how it can extend the capabilities of Teamcenter.

PLM system creates very rich 3D data. The question is how we can leverage these 3D data for the downstream processes – integrated parts catalog, m& training manuals and manufacturing work instruction per international standards (ISO standard), like, SCORM, S1000D, DIDA,etc. The goal is extend PLM process to downstream processes.

We want to reuse 3D data capture during engineering process for creating and publishing technical documentations for downstream processes, and then managing the content in PLM system. The business benefits are huge – cost saving and reducing errors.

Cortona 3D integration with Teamcenter enables customer to create, publish and manage technical documentation.
