Yesterday I talked to Uli Rossgoderer about our Assembly Planning and Validation solution on Teamcenter. He provided some more details and talked about the future of the solution.
Quite interesting, he highlighted the first step of body-in-white planning (BIW) using Teamcenter. This is another major step towards an integrated planning platform for all manufacturing disciplines.

Markus Erlmann is a marketing manager for Tecnomatix at Siemens PLM Software. He is a mechanical engineer, who has been working in the Digital Manufacturing area for more than 15 years as a sales manager, product manager and marketing manager. Markus lives in Munich, Germany, and is interested in new manufacturing processes and green technology.
